Airport transfers:
If you book directly with us at either at our standard or on-line rate your transfers are included.
An exception to this is if you are leaving a vehicle while you are away and are leaving
outside the hours we operate own shuttle. The cost is then not included but we are happy to arrange the transfer for you.
Please advise your flight number and scheduled arrival time when booking.
Your departure flight details if you require a transfer to the airport would also be appreciated.

Arrivals prior to 9pm:
If you are Checking-in before 9pm and require an airport transfer, to access this service please call us on our Freecall number 0800 800 631 but please, only after you have collected your bags and are ready to go.  If you don't have a cell phone, or if it doesn't allow 0800 calls, you can call us from any of the blue payphones located either near the baggage carousels in the Domestic area of the terminal or in the Arrivals Hall in International(these allow calls to 0800 numbers at no-charge).  

PLEASE NOTE: We pick-up with our own vehicle from the ground-floor of the multi-storey car-park building - NOT from the taxi/shuttle area of either terminal. 

Late arrivals (after 9pm):
If you are Checking-in
after 9pm and have requested an airport transfer, the pick-up location will be advised with a confirmation email along with the access code required for key collection from our secure lock-box.
It is essential that you have the code to collect your key so you can gain access to your room unassisted as our Reception closes at 9pm and there is an After Hours access fee of $30 for guests arriving without the required code.


Early morning departures:
If you require transport to the airport prior to our own shuttle's hours of operation, we will book a taxi, set a wake-up call for you and deduct $10.00 off your account in lieu of the transfer (which  covers the taxi fare). See exception re car storage above.

Arriving by rail:
If you arriving into Christchurch on either the Tranz-Alpine or the Tranz-Coastal we can arrange a Meet 'n' Greet with a shuttle company.  They currently charge $20.00 for 2 people and $5 for each additional person in the same group. Again, if you request this service, we will confirm the arrangements by e-mail.

Transfers general: These are provided on the basis of one each way per unit when booked at our Standard rate e.g. If the event of 2 guests staying in a unit and one guest needs to be at the airport at a different time to the other guest, 1 airport transfer applies each way.  We would be happy to arrange a taxi for the second guest, but in the event of the shuttle vehicle going to the airport with another guest with space available at the time the second guest requires a transfer, they would be welcome to use the service but there would not be a specific trip made. For transfers to the airport we leave on the hour and the half hour as required from the time Reception opens.  You will need to Check-out and settle your account prior to the time of departure that best suits your flight arrangements.


N.B.: If you are staying with us while having laser surgery at Fendalton Eye Clinic, we are happy to provide an additional complimentary transfer both to and from your surgical appointment by prior arrangement.
